August Guest Speaker - Kieran Flanagan

Think Differently…

If you are a woman, you’ve probably been told to lean in and take your place at the table and indeed you should. But you also need to stand out. Who you are is unique and that uniqueness is the greatest asset you have.

Doing things the same way as everyone else won’t necessarily lead to success. Trying to be the same as everyone else is tiring, frustrating and only leads to comparisons (not usually in our favour either by the way!).

Sameness is dangerous.

In fact, the greatest challenge facing businesses big and small is you are more in danger of being invisible than you are of being controversial. Your messages tend to get lost in the millions of other messages broadcast every single day.

This means our ability to think differently, connect differently and do things differently is an incredible personal and business asset. In this fun and thought provoking presentation, global keynote speaker Kieran Flanagan will explore why we need to think differently.

She’ll share:

  • Why being different matters more than being better
  • Why your uniqueness is never a weakness
  • Why you are more creative than you think
  • Why being boring is more dangerous than being controversial
  • The power of collaboration and why you need to do more of it

Plus she’ll give you tools and tips on how you can think differently and get a different result!
