    The value of networking

    Guest Speaker Dr Helen Sheil

Discussing the value of networking personally, professionally and publicly in navigating complexities of community life. What I learnt about networking’s contribution to transformative change and ways to design it into processes and projects. As a model of collaborative engagement networking is one of nine strategies that begins with dialogue: conversations between people. Welcome opportunity to share stories of how involvement in rural women’s networks changed my life,  glimpse of the many people who affirmed this way of working and the generosity in sharing knowledge and taking action together. Looking forward to hearing about your dynamic network.

    International Women's Day

March Forward - how far can we go?

    Kerryn Vaughan

Marching forward in life often requires a lot of courage and resilience, especially for women. But when we find that thing that drives us, we are unstoppable. What if we took a moment to reflect on the steps we can take, and the incredible potential waiting ahead when we dare to keep marching forward? This is both a celebration of progress made, and an invitation to imagine how far we can go when we march boldly into the future.

Kerryn is an international speaker and author, facilitator, and podcast host. Kerryn’s award winning book Magnificent Kids! was the catalyst to her founding the global organisation One Planet Classrooms, which facilitates projects such as clean water solutions and student sponsorship program, to schools and communities in Africa.

In 2018 Kerryn launched Girls With Hammers which hosts conferences and workshops aimed at empowering and connecting women, and in 2019 Kerryn released her second book Get Off The Bench! to help people bring their ideas to life. The Get Off The Bench! Podcast came to life in 2020 after a number of false starts and a stint of despair.

Kerryn has presented keynotes and workshops at numerous events & conferences both in Australia and internationally. Keynotes are typically about courage, stepping up, embracing failure, creating a better world and standing in your truth.
