AGM and hear about our branding & new website launch from

Shelley Childs - The Growth Factor

Join us on Thursday 20th November for the Southern Business Women’s Network Annual General Meeting — an evening of reflection, renewal, and celebration as we present our annual reports, unveil our new brand identity and website, and look ahead to an exciting future for our network.

We’re delighted to feature Shelley Childs, Marketing Strategist and SBWN Committee Member, who will present a special feature on Brand Strategy — sharing the thinking behind the development of the new SBWN brand and visual identity.

With over 25 years of corporate experience, Shelley has held executive leadership roles and led national launches for some of Australia’s most loved brands, including Helga’s Continental Bakehouse and the country’s first ‘Go Green’ reusable shopping bag.  Over her career, Shelley has managed major household brands including as Nestlé, Peters Ice Cream, McCormick Foods, Multix, Coles, Barastoc, and Hygain.

In 2024, Shelley launched The Growth Factor, South Gippsland’s own full-service marketing agency, supporting the growth of regional businesses looking to elevate their brand and reach new audiences.

In her presentation, Shelley will take us behind the scenes of SBWN’s rebrand — exploring how strategic brand thinking shaped our new logo and website design, and how these changes reflect the next chapter for our network.

Members will receive their new SBWN logo pin at this event.

All welcome.
