Beth Liley is a highly experienced leader with over 20 years of expertise in transport, infrastructure, and technology, delivering strategic outcomes that drive positive change for communities, businesses, and government stakeholders.

As the Executive Director - Gippsland and Capital Delivery with The Department of Transport and Planning (DTP), Beth is committed to shaping a more connected, resilient, and efficient regional transport network.

A dedicated leader with a deep connection to Gippsland, having grown up in South Gippsland near Walkerville, Beth is committed to fostering collaboration, build high-performing teams, and delivering complex projects that enhance the liveability and economic prosperity of the region. She thrives on tackling challenges, driving innovation, and ensuring that transport solutions align with the needs of both local communities and the broader transport network.

Before joining DTP, Beth held senior leadership roles at Transurban, where she led major customer and digital transformation programs.

Her expertise spans transport infrastructure, strategy, customer operations, digital program management, financial services, and stakeholder engagement, equipping her with the skills to navigate complex policy, regulatory, and operational landscapes.

A strategic thinker and authentic leader, Beth is dedicated to delivering meaningful outcomes by fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, leveraging data-driven insights, and ensuring that transport infrastructure supports the long-term sustainability and growth of regional Victoria
