Why managing your energy is far more important than managing your time

On Thursday, 16th of July we will be holding a free virtual event with two wonderful guest speakers who will share tips and strategies for self care during these difficult times.

Topics covered include:

  • Why bringing a meditative approach to your life and business can be more effective than concentration, hard work and hustle alone.
  • Simple and effective tools to harness your energy so you can be more productive with your time and resources.
  • How you can get more done, but do less.
  • Why meditation goes beyond just a spiritual practice and how it is the edge for success in business and life.
  • Simple tools to apply in your everyday life (without having to sit and meditate) to create a presence, space and stillness in your day to day activities.
  • How to create a different relationship with self-defeating and limiting beliefs and thought patterns, easily and gently.
  • What simple communication skills will create an authentic and loyal bond with your staff and team.

Hridaya PenchesWebsite

I am a meditation and yoga teacher, Ishaya monk and manager of a wellness practice in Fremantle, Western Australia. I help women demystify meditation so they can be free of internal struggle and embrace contentment.

With 15+ years of teaching meditation and leading teams, I am passionate about breaking down the barriers for women to experience a peaceful and purposeful inner life whilst still "having it all" on the outside.

Marjorie Jane ScottWebsite

I am a practitioner of:

  • Shiatsu Therapy (Japanese Massage),
  • Traditional Chinese Massage,
  • Clinical Hypnotherapy and
  • Meditation.

With over 30 years of exploration, having my own business in Inverloch and teaching practical self health skills I emphasise the importance of daily or at least regular meditation. Closing the eyes often and resting is like drinking pure water. The deep gratification and response from the body and mind, the Ahhh as the nervous system settles, the humming in the ears settles, the physical body twitches and rests. It may only be a few minutes however instantly I have more energy and focus and my path becomes clear.

My focus is to remind us all, in this busy yang life, to remember to feed the gentle, the calm, the rest which in my experience allows us to flow effectively.
