About the event

Life, In Balance

Naomi Mellor

Evangeline Ellis

Join the Southern Business Women’s Network for an insightful and supportive evening exploring menopause, wellbeing and a fresh perspective on work/life balance. This event will feature two local speakers, Naomi Mellor of Thyme for Nutrition, Foster, and Evangeline Ellis of The Health & Healing Collective, Leongatha, who will share practical ideas and thought-provoking perspectives to help women navigate this important life stage with greater confidence, understanding and balance.

Naomi Mellor is a clinical nutritionist, naturopath and nurse with a food-first, evidence-informed approach to health. Based in Foster, she supports people through life transitions with a focus on hormones, gut health, metabolism and long-term wellbeing. In this session, Naomi will explore how perimenopause and menopause can affect energy, mood, sleep, weight and overall health, and how nutrition, lifestyle and naturopathic strategies may help women feel more supported and in control. Her practice, Thyme for Nutrition, is based at 50 Main Street, Foster.

Evangeline Ellis brings a different lens to the conversation, challenging traditional ideas of the 8-hour day and the notion of “having it all balanced.” Through her work with The Health & Healing Collective in Leongatha, she supports people in finding more peace, freedom and upliftment in daily life. Her presentation will encourage women to reflect on what balance genuinely means for them, and how they can move from a state of constant deficit toward something more sustainable and fulfilling. Public references place The Health & Healing Collective at 60 Bair Street, Leongatha, offering a range of holistic modalities through a collective of local practitioners.

The evening will also offer the chance to enjoy the welcoming setting of Foster Golf Club, whose clubhouse features a fully licensed bar and bistro with golf course views, making it a lovely place to relax, connect and dine as part of the event experience.
