Last year’s IWD event was genuinely something special — a room full of warmth, honesty, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling of women backing women. The conversations carried long after the night ended, the connections were real, and the energy reminded us why this community matters. This year, we’re doing it again — coming together to celebrate, reflect, and keep moving the dial forward.

We’re honoured to welcome Patrice Mahoney OAM as our keynote speaker — an inspiring mother, artist and proud Indigenous woman with a lifetime of stories to share. Patrice brings a rare mix of strength and heart: the kind of storyteller who can make you laugh one moment, reflect the next, and leave you feeling more grounded, more connected, and more motivated to act. Her lived experience, creativity and perspective offer an unforgettable lens on what it means to balance the scales — in our lives, our communities, and the opportunities we create for the next generation.

Trulli’s outdoor setting is the perfect backdrop for the occasion — relaxed, welcoming, and made for lingering chats, beautiful food, and that “this is such a vibe” feeling as the evening unfolds. It’s an ideal space to gather with friends, meet new faces, and celebrate the women of our region in a way that feels both meaningful and joyful.
