About the event

Raised on a dairy farm outside of Warragul, I spent most of my adult life in Sydney, returning to Gippsland in late 2023, after having reinvented myself as an Acupuncturist. Graduating from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Bachelor of Health in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In early 2024 I established a fledging practice working out of Prom Health in Foster, serving the delightful people of South Gippsland

Acupuncture: how an ancient medicine treats modern disease.

At least 2000 years ago in China, ancients mapped a series of channels that travelled the length and breadth of the body. These channels were interspersed with points that when stimulated had a healing effect on the body.  Today these channels have been verified by modern science as plotting the course of nerves running throughout the body, the points as sitting on top of neuro-vascular bundles. How amazing is that.

Join us for a look into the fascinating world of East Asian/Chinese herbal medicine and Acupuncture and the challenges of establishing an allied health business in rural Victoria with our very own Foster based Acupuncturist  Sandra Tracy.
